An Egyptian Pink Limestone Military Relief Fragment, 19th Dynasty, ca 1350-1205 B.C. carved in raised relief in two registers: a walking foot dominates the upper register and the lower features a well executed head of a soldier in left profile wearing a short wig, the tip of his spear in front . Given the medium, probably from the tomb of an important noble or a lesser member of a royal family. Provenance: Sothebys New York, March 1984 Condition: finely carved and custom mounted.
